By using this website, creating an account, placing an order, or purchasing a product from Jackal Labs, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or purchase our products.

1. Website use

You agree to use the Jackal Labs website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Submit false, misleading, or harmful information

Jackal Labs may suspend or restrict access to the website if we believe a user has breached these Terms & Conditions.

2. Product information

Jackal Labs aims to provide accurate product descriptions, images, specifications, pricing, and availability. However, product images, renders, colours, dimensions, packaging, and descriptions may differ slightly from the final product due to manufacturing tolerances, photography, screen settings, product updates, or design refinements.

Jackal Labs reserves the right to update, improve, or modify products without prior notice, provided such changes do not materially reduce the intended function of the product.

3. Orders and payments

Orders placed through the website are subject to acceptance by Jackal Labs. An order confirmation does not automatically mean the order has been accepted. Jackal Labs reserves the right to cancel or reject an order due to:

• Incorrect pricing
• Product unavailability
• Suspected fraud
• Payment issues
• Incorrect customer details
• Errors on the website
• Unreasonable or abusive customer behaviour

Payment must be made through the payment methods provided on the website. Jackal Labs does not store full payment card details — payments are handled through a compliant third-party payment provider.

4. Pricing

All prices are listed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless stated otherwise. Prices may change at any time without prior notice. The price charged will be the price shown at the time the customer places the order, unless there is an obvious pricing error.

Jackal Labs reserves the right to correct pricing errors and cancel affected orders where necessary. Any applicable taxes, shipping fees, or additional charges will be clearly shown before checkout.

5. Shipping and delivery

Jackal Labs will aim to process and deliver orders within the estimated timeframe shown on the website. Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by:

• Courier delays
• Public holidays
• High order volume
• Weather conditions
• Incorrect shipping information
• Customs or import procedures, where applicable

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details. Jackal Labs is not responsible for failed or delayed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information.

Risk of loss or damage may pass to the customer once the product has been handed over to the delivery provider, unless otherwise required by law.

6. Returns and refunds

Returns or refunds may be considered where:

• The wrong product was delivered
• The product is defective upon receipt
• The product does not reasonably match the order
• The product is damaged during delivery and reported within the stated timeframe

Returns or refunds may not be accepted where:

• The product has been installed, used, modified, damaged, or misused
• The customer ordered the wrong product or variant
• The product was damaged due to incorrect installation
• The product was exposed to conditions beyond normal intended use
• The product is custom or personalised, unless defective
• The return request is made after the stated return period

Jackal Labs reserves the right to inspect returned products before approving any refund, replacement, or exchange. This section will be reviewed to ensure it aligns with Singapore's Lemon Law and consumer protection requirements.

7. Product installation responsibility

Some Jackal Labs products may require installation, fitting, mounting, or attachment to a vehicle or vehicle component. Unless installation service is specifically provided by Jackal Labs, customers are responsible for installing the product correctly or engaging a suitable professional installer.

Jackal Labs is not responsible for damage, loss, injury, failure, or poor performance caused by:

• Incorrect installation
• Improper surface preparation
• Use on unsuitable surfaces
• Failure to follow instructions
• Use of incompatible materials
• Modification of the product
• Installation by an unqualified or careless person

Customers should read and follow all installation instructions before use.

8. Customer responsibility for correct fitment

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the product is suitable for their vehicle, intended use, and local requirements before purchase and installation. Where product dimensions, fitment information, or compatibility guidance is provided, it is for general reference only unless Jackal Labs specifically confirms compatibility in writing.

Customers should check: vehicle model, plate size, mounting surface, clearance, material compatibility, local road or vehicle regulations, installation method, and intended use conditions.

Jackal Labs is not responsible for fitment issues caused by incorrect customer measurements, vehicle modifications, non-standard parts, or assumptions made before purchase.

9. Use of automotive products at your own risk

Jackal Labs products are automotive accessories and should be used responsibly. Customers understand that automotive products may be exposed to vibration, heat, rain, road conditions, washing, cleaning chemicals, sunlight, and other real-world conditions.

Customers are responsible for checking the product regularly after installation to ensure it remains secure, functional, and safe for continued use. Jackal Labs is not responsible for loss, damage, penalties, fines, vehicle damage, or third-party claims caused by misuse, poor installation, lack of maintenance, or use outside the product's intended purpose. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Limitations of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jackal Labs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website, products, or services, including but not limited to vehicle damage, loss of use, lost profits, loss of data, installation costs, removal costs, replacement labour costs, fines or penalties, third-party claims, and damage caused by misuse or improper installation.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, Jackal Labs' liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the affected product, unless otherwise required by law.

11. Intellectual property

All content on the Jackal Labs website belongs to Jackal Labs or its respective owners, including logos, product names, product designs, text, images, renders, graphics, videos, website layout, branding, and product descriptions.

Customers may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, reverse engineer, or use Jackal Labs intellectual property without written permission. The names Jackal Labs, TriPlate, PlateTag, and other brand assets are treated as Jackal Labs intellectual property, whether registered or unregistered.

12. Custom or personalised products

Some Jackal Labs products may be custom, personalised, made-to-order, or produced based on customer-provided details. Customers are responsible for ensuring all custom text, names, plate details, spelling, measurements, and design choices are correct before confirming the order.

Custom or personalised products may not be eligible for cancellation, return, exchange, or refund once production has started, unless the product is defective or incorrect due to Jackal Labs' error. Jackal Labs reserves the right to reject custom requests that are offensive, unlawful, misleading, infringe third-party rights, or are unsuitable for production.

13. Warranty limitations

Jackal Labs may provide a limited product warranty where stated on the product page, covering defects in materials or workmanship under normal intended use only. The warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, product modification, exposure to unsuitable chemicals, use outside intended conditions, damage caused by vehicle surfaces or third-party parts, or cosmetic changes that do not affect function.

Warranty claims may require proof of purchase, photos, videos, inspection, and return of the product. Jackal Labs does not promise lifetime warranty, safety guarantees, or universal fitment unless officially confirmed and supported by testing.

14. Account security

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account login details and must not share their password or allow others to access their account.

Jackal Labs is not responsible for loss or damage caused by unauthorised account access due to customer negligence, weak passwords, shared devices, or failure to keep login details secure. Customers should notify Jackal Labs immediately if they suspect unauthorised access to their account.

15. Privacy and user data

Jackal Labs collects and handles personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable Singapore PDPA requirements. Personal data may be collected for account creation, order processing, customer support, delivery, reviews, enquiries, marketing communications where consent is given, and website security and fraud prevention.

Jackal Labs takes reasonable steps to protect personal data and does not sell customer personal data. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.

16. Changes to these terms

Jackal Labs may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on the website with the latest revision date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms & Conditions. For major changes, Jackal Labs may provide additional notice where appropriate.
